Will Ceglar, hailing from Largo, Florida, returned to his roots in Tampa Bay in 2020 after completing 24 years of distinguished service in the United States Air Force. Throughout his extensive military career, Will excelled in various fields, including human resources, defense, and cyber operations. His journey culminated in the prestigious role of Superintendent at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Global Field Command (West) based at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
During his tenure, Will undertook significant assignments across multiple domestic and international locations, including England, Virginia, Washington State, Florida, Alabama, the Republic of South Korea, Germany, South Carolina, and Utah. He supported various critical exercises and operations, including Ulchi-Freedom Guardian, Operation Allied Force, Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, Freedom’s Sentinel, and Inherent Resolve.
Outside his military duties, Will actively contributed to the AFCEA community, serving on four Chapter Executive Councils and currently holding the position of AFCEA Central Florida Awards Chair. The prestigious AFCEA Medal of Merit Award in 2020 recognized his dedication and achievements.
In his present capacity, Will is a Cybersecurity Engineer at NexTech Solutions (NTS), where he lends his expertise to support the USSOCOM SOF AT&L Program Executive Office – Fixed Wing. Through continued service, Will demonstrates an unwavering commitment to excellence and security in defense and technology.
